Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?”

“Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them.

Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?”

He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.”

1. If you have abundance, give.
2. Don’t take more than your share.
3. Be content with what you have.

When we frame what we have with an abundance mindset we naturally fulfill all of these rules. We give because we have too much, we give until we have only what we need, and we are content with it.
