Jeremiah 9:23-24 “Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
YHC reminds the PAX of what we should be proud of. Not in material, knowledge, or wealth. These things are not bad. But Jeremiah reminds us that knowing God, the Sky-Q, the creator is greater than all of these. Not just knowing him, but KNOWING him.
1 Time 4:8 “for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”
Godliness is being like God. You cant do this without knowing him
To know God, you have to spend time with him. Reading the scripture, meditating on him, praying to him. These are all ways to improve your knowledge.
Just like developing a relationship with your spouse, significant other, an F-3 brother. it takes time and effort.

YHC enjoyed the run, even if it was solo. Except for the few times facing near death because of downed limbs in the trail that were nearly invisible in the low light. Praise the Sky-Q that headlamps were invented by people for situations such as this!
