Mosey around the church and to the parking lot

The Thang- Partner up. We started at one end of the parking lot and line up perpendicular to the parking rows. Each round included 3 sets. First set, the pax mosey’d to the first parking barricade, performed the prescribed workout, then mosey’d back to their partner. While the partner 1 performed the prescribed workout, the other partner 2 performed a workout at the starting point. When partner 1 returned, flapjack, partner does the same thing. Next set repeat the same thing but mosey to the second parking barricade. Set 3 run to the farthest parking barricade. Simple enough.

Round 1: Burpee Jump Overs (BJO): PAX partner up. One PAX does SSH while the other runs to the first line and does 5 Burpee Jump Overs and runs back to take over SSH while the second PAX runs to do the burpees. Continue until each PAX has done all 10 lines.

Round 2: Cross-over Merkins (C-O Merkins): Same as before but 10 merkins and flutterkicks instead of Burpee Jump Overs and SSH

Round 3: Jump Squats: Same as before but 15 jump squats and big boi’s.

BONUS ROUND: Mosey to the far barricade each set and perform 1 set of each of the previous rounds. Thats 5 more BJO w/ SSH, 10 more C-O Merkins and flutter kicks, and 15 jump squats and big bois!

Circle of Trust (COT): Count-o-rama and nam–o-rama
“An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.” – Proverbs 20:22
YHC reminded the pax about the importance of developing your replacements (2.0s, future leaders at work, etc.) in a way that doesn’t make it easy.
– Ease of work/life does not make leaders who are ready for the world we live in.
– We need to intentionally and deliberately create an environment that is challenging to develop people/leaders/replacements that are able to be hardened to, ready for, and toughened for the challenges life will give them.
– When we wear gloves too much during a workout, we can’t endure life when our gloves break and we have to keep working!

Moleskin
– YHC thinks that Dogfish, who has finally learned his name very well, needs to get a new alarm clock. But he did roll up today with a large smile and a great attitude, but that is in part because he didn’t know what the beatdown was nor did he experience dancing bears followed by crucible merkins.
– Geek Squad came packing today, and by that he was wearing a weighted vest! Not to be outdone, Gilligan decided to go to his truck during the beatdown just to get his ruck out. However, let it be known that he still wore his 80’s wrist sweat band and his gloves for the beatdown. Not the last point from the COT.
– Great to see Skinny Llama as a regular fixture at GZ. Also Geek Squad decided to show again and in typical Geek Squad fashion, peaced out prior to the most important part, the COT. He claim’s he has to work, but I think it’s because his sig-other makes yummy breakfast avocado toast and with his Hard75 diet, he can’t miss a meal.
– Driftwood, a senior in college, was hurting today with the combo of Burpee Jump Overs and Merkins and Squat Jumps. He admittedly follows the Hero-shima school of training philosophy. It was impressive though that after being EH’d by YHC on his second day visiting the religious day-club YHC frequents on Sundays that ventured into the gloom for his inaugural post. We shall see if he has the gumption to return and embrace the pain.
– Where is Low-T?
– These are the facts as I see them and they are accurate.
