The Thang – Fun with Dolly
2 Pax take the dolly for a spin. Carry pax on dolly ½ way around the parking lot, swap seats and continue back to the start. Those two will go to station 1, station 1 goes to station 2, station 2 goes to station 3 (if there are that many) and station 3 takes the dolly for spin. Rinse and repeat until all have had some fun.
Dont forget to wear your helmet!

Dolly’s are unstable at high speed. Most PAX looked like they were driving a vehicle after a long night of imbibery (which we don’t condone).
Geek Squad seems to take the exercise most seriously and used the 25lb ruck plate as a steering wheel.
Geek Squad also brought 2 FNGs today. We welcomed LIFE ALERT (caps required) and Treble Cleff to the brotherhood. That brings us down to 94 FNGs left!
COT –
Great Leader’s Have no Rules by Kevin Kruse
“Rules are general started with the best intentions”
The problem is that no one can account for every single situation and the more rules you make the more rules you will have to make to account for new situations.
Rules tend to drive people to focus on the rules as opposed to real effectiveness, real efficiency, and real success
Rules force leaders to outsource having tough conversations with people about impact of their decisions and motivating them to do the right thing for the organization, community, friends/family, etc.
Rules tend to reduce trust between vertical levels in an organization and inhibit innovation, flexibility, and adjusting to changes in the environment
As a leader focus on outcomes, left and right boundaries, focus on building trust by encouraging people to think and do what’s right. Then free them to act and lead.
